Operator and contact

Operator
Sophaxis is operated by one person, Takuya Nemoto, in Japan. It is a personal, non-commercial project. It is not run by a company, a university or a publisher. The operator keeps it as a hobby, as an extension of a personal reading shelf; what that means for the records is in the Disclaimer.
- ORCID iD: 0009-0000-1406-0547
- GitHub: cpsbvbng26-dotcom
The operator is also the moderator, and is responsible for the site and its records. The site and its code were built with Claude Code (Anthropic) at the operator's request; see the Disclaimer. The authors bear full responsibility for their works, as the Terms of Use set out. Submissions by the operator are moderated under the same rules and are marked as the operator's own.
Contact
Complaints, legal matters and anything about personal data go by email, not to a public issue: use the address on the operator's ORCID record.
- Questions, suggestions and problems with the site: an issue.
- Submitting a preprint or a new version: the submission form.
- An error in a record: the correction form.
- Withdrawing a work, as one of its authors: the withdrawal form.
- Reporting the published version of a listed work, as one of its authors: the published-version form.
- Removal for legal reasons: the removal form.
- Anything that should not be public: email to the address on the operator's ORCID record.
Issues are public. Do not put personal data in them. The email address is kept on the ORCID record, not on this site. Write in English or Japanese. The operator aims to answer within 7 days.
Sophaxis elsewhere
- OSF: the project page Sophaxis: An Independent Overlay Preprint Server, with the DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/MQ7ZA. The DOI names the project, not a listed work.
- GitHub: the public repository with the code, the records and the submissions.
Security
A security problem goes by email, not to a public issue, so that it can be fixed before it is known. Say what you found and how to reproduce it. Sophaxis offers no reward, and thanks every report. The site gives the same contact in the standard file security.txt.
Accessibility
Sophaxis aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Its checks confirm the contrast of every text colour in the light and dark schemes, a link to skip to the content, a visible focus for keyboard users, the language of every page, one main heading per page, and headers for every table. A barrier can be reported in an issue with the label accessibility, or by email.
Postal address
The operator's postal address is not published. It is given on request, without delay, as Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information provides. Ask for it by email.
Where the site runs
The site is hosted on Vercel and built from the public repository on GitHub. The code, the records and the issues are kept on GitHub, and the automatic checks run as GitHub Actions there. Sophaxis is not affiliated with GitHub or Vercel; see the Disclaimer. Repositories and DOI registration agencies can read what Sophaxis takes from them on a page of its own.
